When it was announced that the Brevard Symphony Orchestra would be performing a special concert beneath space shuttle Atlantis, dubbed the "Symphonic Odyssey", my good friend and colleague Tim Gagnon asked me to collaborate on an emblem for the event. His concept was simple - Atlantis suspended above the musical performance and a starry night sky above. While the emblem was not adopted by either the BSO or KSC Visitor Complex, both praised the effort and design.
