As the third operational mission of SpaceX's Dragon spacecraft approached, Max-Q was tasked with creating an emblem to commemorate the first American ISS mission of 2014. The design takes the shape of the now-famous Dragon spacecraft, which will carry out the ISS resupply flight. At the forefront of the emblem is the Falcon 9 rocket. As the main event for the social media gathering, attendees will witness the liftoff of the vehicle as it lifts Dragon toward orbit. The Earth represents the international collaboration required to make this happen and also shows the orbit of the ISS, symbolized in the gold star in front of the Falcon 9.
