Any event involving NASA and/or aviation is sure to draw Max-Q's attention, so it was easy to get excited about an event combining the two in our own backyard. The design incorporates the two NASA climate science aircraft (N817NA and N809NA) that will be a part of the SEAC4RS study and 15 stars; one for each of the 15 social media attendees. The two aircraft fly through a cloud/smoke-filled sky as part of their mission, returning data back to the scientists and followers on the ground. Encompassing the design is the weather symbol for a cumulonimbus cloud as a more abstract interpretation of the literal cloud seen in the design.
