ISS Research #NASASocial Emblem by @Astro95Media

ISS Research NASA Social

Created: March 2013
Designers: Nathan Moeller

Design Summary

I had the honor of being selected for Johnson Space Center's first NASA Social event of the year, which included tours and events surrounding research aboard the International Space Station. The emblem portrays the ISS overflying a borderless Earth, representing the common goals of the ISS partner nations. The red, white, blue and green ribbon encompassing the emblem signifies the three nations of the crewmembers of Expedition 36, who we met with at JSC for their press conference. The Expedition 36 crew is also represented by the six stars above "JSC". The "3" and "0" represent the 30 social media followers chosen to participate in the day's events.
