In 2013, Alabama's Cub Scouts troop 457 were invited to spend time aboard the USS Yorktown. Friend Charles Atkeison returned to ask me to create an emblem to commemorate the adventure. It features the Boy Scouts logo above the silhouetted USS Yorktown, along with its hull number, CV-10.
