KSC 50th Anniversary Emblem by @Astro95Media

Kennedy Space Center 50th Anniversary

Created: December 2011
Designers: Nathan Moeller, Tim Gagnon & Brian Papke

Design Summary

For the second-to-final design push of 2011, Tim Gagnon requested our help in designing an emblem celebrating the 50th anniversary of America's space port - Kennedy Space Center. It features the notable VAB landmark, the two most iconic vehicles to launch from the center (Saturn V and Shuttle) and JFK's likeness. The legacy destinations of the center (ISS and the Moon) are visible in the sky, along with ten stars; one for each of KSC's ten directors since 1962.
