Born and raised in Austin, Texas, Brian has documented multiple space shuttle launches, as well as ground operations and retirement of the fleet. He also has multiple air-to-air photo missions to his credit, along with documentation and publication of photos in Dispatch magazine ranging from airshow performers, vintage World War II planes, modern military aircraft and local general aviation.

From the flight deck of space shuttle Endeavour, to the waist gunner position of a B-25 and the sun-baked Texas tarmac, he's covered it all. Brian also serves as the head of Brian Papke Photography, in addition to the co-owner of Triple P Studios, a contributing photographer with Heliweb and a contributor to NASASpaceflight.com and Spaceflight Insider.
